Under DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid), we deliver the cargo to your address, but you are responsible for import clearance and paying local duties and taxes.
How is the volumetric weight for Air Freight calculated?
Air freight uses volumetric calculation when the cargo is light but bulky. The formula is: Length x Width x Height (in cm) / 6000 (or 5000 depending on the specific line/service). Charging is based on whichever weight is greater between actual physical weight and volumetric weight.
What is the typical transit time for sea freight from China to the USA or Europe?
For FCL and LCL shipping, typical transit times are approximately 18-25 days to West Coast USA, and 28-35 days to major European ports, depending on congestion, schedules, and specific routes.
Can you consolidate packages from multiple different suppliers?
Yes, absolutely. We offer warehousing and consolidation services in China. Your suppliers can send their shipments to our warehouse, where we will receive, inspect, repack, and combine them into a single international shipment to optimize your shipping costs.
Are there restrictions on what can be shipped by air cargo?
Yes. Air cargo regulations strictly control the transport of dangerous goods, including batteries (lithium-ion), flammable liquids, magnetic materials, and certain chemicals. These goods require compliant packaging and documentation (like UN38.3). We will help guide you through the compliance process.
What is the difference between a Bill of Lading (BL) and a Sea Waybill (SWB)?
